First Announcement

After months of mulling it over, I announced my candidacy for the Ohio Board of Education to NEOEA’s Representative Assembly delegates on November 7.

I was joined in the announcement by delegates from four school systems that represent the past, present, and future of my personal and professional life. Standing with me were delegates from Warrensville Heights, where my teaching career began in 1971; Bedford, where Lynn and I live, our children went to school, and daughter Heather teaches; Aurora, where I taught for most of my career; and Twinsburg, where our grandchildren attend Kindergarten, third grade, and sixth grade.

There will be a more public opening later, and much more to be said and done. I plan to write one of these articles each week; for now, I simply want to welcome you to the campaign.
